On Wednesday , Swedish PM Magdalena Andersson received UK PM Boris Johnson in Sweden. They signed a Joint Declaration on Security and Defence and discussed bilateral relations and cooperation between Sweden and the UK.
In a tweet Swedish PM Magdalena Andersson said,”Pleased to welcome PM Boris Johnson to Sweden. Important discussions on our broad bilateral relation & joint efforts to support Ukraine against Russian aggression. Agreed to strengthen Sweden and UK security & defence cooperation through a political declaration of solidarity.”
While speaking to Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson, Boris Johnson said,”The war in Ukraine is forcing us all to make difficult decisions. But sovereign nations must be free to make those decisions without fear or influence or threat of retaliation.”

UK PM Boris Johnson further said ,”Sharing more intelligence, bolstering military exercises and jointly developing technology, I am very pleased to sign a mutual security assurance declaration with @SwedishPM Magdalena Andersson.
We face a new reality. But we face it together.”
